Experience / Specialisms

Coaching all ages and abilities for over 20 years, full time for 13 years

Planned and delivered the performance junior tennis programme ias Head Tennis Coach at South Leeds Tennis Centre for 11 years

Managing the coaching programme at South Leeds tennis centre with particular responsibilities for staff career development, quality control, and problem solving

Creating and delivering a highly successful development coaching programme at Salts, Armley and Pudsey tennis clubs in partnership with the committee

Extensive playing background, through junior tournaments to men’s British Tour events, with an ability to feed and demonstrate to a high level and a willingness to play and coach team tennis. Currently hold an LTA rating of 4.2

Networking experience and knowledge of local and regional partners including primary and secondary schools, club links, and the YLTA

Vast schools coaching experience through years of working with the Cliff Richard Tennis Trust and the Leeds City Council Activate scheme and extended schools programs with PDM’s and SSDO’s.
