Salts Tennis Club
 Club Of The Year
Salts is the current Lawn Tennis Associatioin(LTA) Club of the Year. Salts was recoginised nationally in recognition of its role in driving awareness, enhancing access, and providing increased opportunities in sport.
In partnership with Tennis United, Salts delivered a successful community outreach programme in local schools, clubs and parks to encourage more people to take up the sport. In the last six months alone, the club’s membership has almost doubled from 128 to 240.

From Bradford city centre take the A650 signposted Keighley. After approx 4 miles turn right into Victoria Road following signs for Saltaire. Pass Salts Mill at the bottom of the hill, over the canal bridge, and turn left. Go straight ahead taking the lane parallel to the canal. Tennis courts are on the right after 100 yards.
A great place to play
Salts Tennis Club is a small friendly tennis club with a wide variety of members playing social and competitive tennis. We cater for all standards from beginner to good club level, with ladies, men's, mixed and junior teams competing in the Bradford, Wharfedale and Yorkshire leagues. New members are welcome to join, of all ages and standards. The club offers social tennis, competitive tennis and coaching to improve your game. For details on how to join or come down and have an informal look around, follow the menu on the left hand side of the page.
Coaching
Head Coach Richard Senior has a number of junior and senior coaching courses, and social play for members and non members organised for anyone who would like to come along and have a go. See coaching tabs for more details or contact him on 07855 764777
Club Facilities
The tennis club has 4 hard courts (2 floodlit), changing and shower facilities, a kitchen and a dining area. The club forms part of Salts Sports Association which comprises cricket, football, bowls and tennis sections. The main clubhouse has a licensed bar and a snooker table.
